About Ronaliz S. Veron
Ronaliz has extensive experience in the area of Wills and Estates. Her practice includes estate planning, estate administration, and adult guardianship and trusteeship matters. She regularly appears before the Court of King’s Bench of Alberta for these proceedings. She previously worked with Alberta Justice Family and Surrogate Court Litigation, where she acted as legal counsel for the Public Guardian and Trustee of Alberta.
In addition to Wills and Estates, Ronaliz also practices in the area of Child Protection Law. She represents the Director of a delegated First Nation agency and acts for a First Nation intervenor in child welfare proceedings.
She joined Bruni Law as an articling student in May 2015 after completing partial articles with the Natural Resources Conservation Board and the Alberta Civil Liberties Research Centre. She was admitted to the Alberta Bar in 2015. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with Distinction (2011) and her Juris Doctor (2014) from the University of Calgary. While in law school, Ronaliz volunteered with Student Legal Assistance and Pro Bono Students Canada.
Ronaliz is bilingual (English and Tagalog) and she remains connected to her Filipino heritage and community.
